Farmington community invited to Bark in the Park Doggie Dash

FARMINGTON, N.M. (KRQE) — The City of Farmington is hosting a community event for dog lovers later this month. "Bark in the Park Doggie Dash" is set to return to Animas Park on Saturday, April 26.

The event starts at 10 a.m. with the "Doggie Dash" where dogs and owners will run or walk through a 2-mile loop of the park. Pre-registration, which guarantees you a free t-shirt, is open through 5 p.m. on April 18 online.
The shirts can be picked up the day of the event between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. There will also be on-site registration during that time, which will not provide a free shirt, although they will be available for purchase.
After the dash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be local vendors, games, and the adoptable pet parade. ...read more read less
