Suspect charged with murder in deadly El Reno Halloween party shooting found not guilty

EL RENO, Okla. (KFOR) — A 23-year-old man charged with murder in connection to a deadly shooting at a Halloween party in El Reno was found not guilty by a Canadian County jury on Monday.

g Davidson at a Halloween party on the night of Friday, October 27.
Davidson was hospitalized following the incident and declared brain dead a short time later.

Back in October 2023, News 4 spoke to Tsotigh's grandfather and Vice Chairman of the Kiowa Tribe, Jacob Tsotigh, who claimed his grandson was targeted for harassment because of his race, and was under threat by a man much larger than him.
Assistant Canadian County District Attorney Eric Epplin confirmed with News 4 that a Canadian County jury found Tsotigh not guilty on charges of first-degree murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Following Tsotigh's acquittal, Epplin told News 4, "We respect the jury's verdict." ...read more read less
