GoFundMe started to raise money for funeral of man killed in Baton Rouge crash

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A GoFundMe was created to pay for the funeral of a man who died in a crash in Baton Rouge.
Gemico Ruffin, 28, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on April 6 after his car went over a railing at S. I-110 near Capitol Access and Chippewa Street.
According
to the GoFundMe's description, the fundraiser was created by Ruffin's mother to raise money for funeral expenses. The fundraiser has a goal of $5,000 and has raised a little over $855 as of April 15. Click here to donate.
Funeral services for Ruffin are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Promised Land Baptist Church, located at 7234 Plank Road, Baton Rouge.
