Lake County groups to host Community Volunteer Fair

The Lake County Volunteer Network, in collaboration with the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities, United Way of Lake County, Mentor Public Library, and Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library, will be holding a Community Volunteer Fair on April 30.
This event will be held from noon to 4:30 p.
m. at the H Building Atrium at Lakeland Community College, 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland. Parking is available o campus adjacent to the H-Building.
The fair offers a unique opportunity for nonprofit and government agencies serving Lake and Geauga county residents to showcase their volunteer opportunities and connect with potential volunteers, according to a news release.
The event provides organizations with the opportunity to meet with potential volunteers, share information about their programs, and network with other agencies, the release stated. Dozens of agencies will be in attendance including Lake Metroparks, Lifeline, Lake County Council on Aging, Project Hope for the Homeless, Birthright Lake Inc, Lake County Free Clinic, Ohio Living, and more.
To register for the free event, nonprofit and government agencies must complete the online registration form by April 21. Participation will be confirmed via email. The registration link can be found online.
Set-up begins at 11 a.m. the day of the event.
