(FOX 5/KUSI) — A man in a vehicle allegedly connected to several thefts across two Southern California counties was detained after a pursuit. According to El Centro police, on Monday, officers spotted the vehicle linked to thefts "across El Centro and in San Diego County." 5.2 magnitud e earthquake shakes Southern California Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued driving, eventually entering I-8 westbound toward San Diego. Police worked with the California Highway Patrol and Border Patrol to use spike strips at a Border Patrol checkpoint, eventually stopping the vehicle.
