NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The refrigerator needs your help. The fridges all around town have food for whoever needs it. Now, you can help. WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood says it all starts with what's called The Hotdog Safari. It starts on Friday, April 18 and con tinues through Monday, April 21. The Hotdog Safari is a yearly, multi-restaurant event. It's a competition for chefs around town. You get a scorecard, travel from restaurant to restaurant and at the finish line, you help feed the need for food around New Orleans.
