MEMPHIS, Tenn -- Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers restaurant is planned to replace the Red Lobster on Winchester Road near Hacks Cross Road. The Raising Cane's Restaurants L.L.C. presented a revised Final Plan and Outline on Monday after the Land Use Control Board approved a modification on April 1 0. They plan to redevelop the vacated Red Lobster restaurant into a Raising Cane's restaurant with two drive-thru lanes and dine-in service. In June 2024, a commercial construction permit for the over 3,100 square foot restaurant was filed by Stephanie Keith PM Design Group on North Germantown Parkway. Raising Cane’s Chicken coming to Southaven, MS In May 2024, a Raising Cane's location in Southaven on Goodman Road was approved by the city's Office of Planning and Development Planning Commission at a public hearing which they hope to open in the second quarter of 2025. The Louisiana-based fast-food chicken restaurant has over 700 locations in the U.S., with six being in Tennessee.
