Authorities in Wisconsin discover secret drugmaking lab, 40yearold man arrested

PORTLAND, Wis. (WFRV) - After reportedly uncovering a clandestine drug laboratory, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office arrested a 40-year-old man on allegations of manufacturing drugs.
On April 13, around 4:30 p.m., deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff's Office were sent to an address for a possi
ble domestic disturbance, the sheriff's office said. It was reportedly learned that a suspected secret laboratory used for making illicit drugs may be in the basement of the residence.

The report mentions that investigators determined the secret laboratory was used in making ecstasy. One day later, on April 14, a search warrant was executed by investigators at the residence.
Investigators recovered suspected illicit controlled substances, suspected drug paraphernalia, laboratory equipment and hazardous materials from the residence, the release said.
Deputies ended up contacting the suspect, identified as a 40-year-old man from Dodge County. He was taken into custody on the following charges:
Domestic battery
Domestic disorderly conduct
Maintain a drug trafficking place
Possession with intent to manufacture certain other schedule I controlled substances and ketamine
Possession with intent to manufacture psilocybin
Possession of a schedule I/II narcotic drug
The residence was later deemed safe by the Clandestine Laboratory Response Team, and the community was advised to have no concerns for their safety, according to the sheriff's office.
