FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A man was arrested Monday and faces charges in a shooting on Hobson Road that left one man dead and another in life-threatening condition.
Shontrel Bright, 33, is now being held in the Allen County Jail, accordin

Bright is accused of murder and attempted murder in a Sunday shooting in the 2100 block of Hobson Road. Not long after midnight, police responded to the scene and found one man suffering from gunshot wounds who was eventually pronounced dead.
The Allen County Coroner's Office identified the man Tuesday as Keitron Demos Adams, 21, from Fort Wayne. His death was ruled a homicide.
Another man showed up at a hospital with critical injuries from gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined Bright allegedly shot them both. It's unclear what led to the shooting.
Police said they found Bright Monday in the 1900 block of Hobson Road, not far from where the shooting took place.
Bright had been on probation for a 2015 aggravated battery conviction in connection to a shooting involving a previous roommate, court records show. Prosecutors have filed paperwork to have that probation revoked in light of this weekend's shooting.
A separate felony sexual battery charge was also filed against Bright in connection to an incident on Saturday, according to court documents. ...read more read less
