file photo   FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County Coroner Chris Hill had identified an individual that dies after a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, said the coroner’s office. According to Coroner Hill, 78-year-old Carrie Green of Jenkinsville was a back seat passenger of a vehicle that was hit by another vehicle on Monday April 14. The collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy 321 Business S. and US Hwy 321. First responders arrived to the scene of the incident and extricated Green from the vehicle and began life saving measures. Green was taken to Prisma Health Richland Memorial where she died from her injuries, according to the coroner’s office. Fairfield County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the collision.
