13 kids treated after chlorine exposure in Livermore

(KRON) -- More than a dozen children in Livermore were treated Monday after a suspected chlorine release at a swimming pool, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. Three of the children were transported to a hospital for their injuries.
Fire crews responded at 4:36 p.m. to The Club
at Livermore, located at 2000 Arroyo Road, on the report of a patient needing medical assistance.
“While treating the patient, several other occupants reported medical complaints,” fire officials told KRON4. Additional resources were requested at the scene by the first responders.
Livermore Taekwondo school struck by suspected drunk driver
A total of 13 children were assessed and treated for shortness of breath or lung irritation, with three transported to a local hospital. The remaining 10 children were released to parents and guardians at the scene.
The fire department said a hazardous materials team responded to the incident along with five ambulances, three fire engines and a fire truck.
