ATTLEBORO, MASS. (WPRI) — Commuters may see some changes at the Attleboro Train Station starting on Tuesday.
The MBTA said the high-level platform on the outbound side will be closed for renovation for at least six weeks.
Commuters are being asked to board trains at the north end of the plat
form. The staircase to the ramp will also be closed, but a portable lift will be available.

Meanwhile, the House Ways and Means Committee Chair said the state plans to send $700 million more to the MBTA, which faces a massive budget gap when the 2026 fiscal year starts July 1.
The House's budget support for the MBTA can't come to pass without the Senate taking similar action.
The MBTA said travelers should plan for extra travel time as renovations continue.
