Pedestrian injured, I25 closed near Mead after crash

Interstate 25 was closed for hours in both directions near Mead after a crash that injured a pedestrian, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
Northbound and southbound I-25 was closed near exit 245 for Mead and Colorado 66 as of 7:38 p.m. Multiple drivers reported standstill traffic o
n the Waze app, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. CDOT posted at 9:14 p.m. on X that the highway was reopened in both directions.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, the sheriff’s office said on social media at 7:30 p.m.
