New state program to aid businesses hit by tariffs
Apr 14, 2025
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Healey-Driscoll administration has launched a new initiative to support businesses impacted by tariffs.
The initiative is called the 'Massachusetts Tariff Response and Business Operations Support Initiative.'
It will align state resources in order to aid businesses
--as well as help manufacturers respond to new and changing tariffs. Companies can fill out a survey to tell the state how they've been impacted.
The state will identify their needs and connect the company to alternative supply chains across the region.
