VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Five people and four dogs were displaced following a fire to a home on Upper Palace Green in Virginia Beach Monday, the Virginia Beach Fire Department said. The Virginia Beach Fire Department was called out to the 3300 block of Upper Palace Green for reports of "heavy smoke and flames," according to VBFD. Crews arrived to the home in the 3300 block of Upper Palace Green for reports of "heavy smoke and flames" around 6:52 p.m. and put the fire out around 7:23 p.m., the fire department said. No injuries were reported but two adults, three children, and four dogs were displaced from the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
