(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Springs Rescue Mission (SRM) is inviting anyone in need of a warm meal to this year’s annual Easter Banquet.
The event will take place 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 on SRM’s campus at 5 W. Las Vegas Street. According to SRM, the Easter Banquet is a cherished t

“Easter is a time of hope and renewal, and we want our guests to really feel that,” said Travis Williams, President CEO of Springs Rescue Mission. “We want to invite these neighbors in, make them feel welcome, and renew their spirits with compassionate hospitality.”

"The community makes this event possible,” Williams said of the volunteers and donors who make the event possible. “We're humbled by their support in helping provide this special holiday experience to homeless men and women in Colorado Springs."
SRM said it served more than 400 guests at last year’s Easter meal and anticipates around the same number this year. Lunch will be served in three 40-minute intervals, beginning at 11 a.m. and concluding at 1 p.m. ...read more read less
