Santa Rosa police seek help in finding bank robber

(KRON) -- Authorities are looking for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery on Friday, April 11, the Santa Rosa Police Department announced. Around 3:56 p.m., a man entered the Chase Bank on Menodcino Avenue where he handed a note to the bank teller that demanded cash.
No weapon was used to th
reaten the teller, but the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money from the teller, according to SRPD. The man ran away and remains at large.
The suspect (pictured below) is described as a white man approximately 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey and black hat, blue and grey flannel, light denim jeans, black-rimmed sunglasses and a wedding band.

The suspect was carrying a grey-zippered bag, according to SRPD. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect(s) connected to the bank robbery.
