(BCN) -- A woman died after her parked minivan rolled over her Friday on a street in South San Jose, police said. The woman had parked the vehicle about 10:50 a.m. on an incline along Lyric Lane near Otono Court, according to San Jose police. Man who died in 2022 identified as suspect in 1997 San Jo se cold case murder After the 2006 red Kia Sedona was parked facing northbound on Lyric Lane, the driver got out and the vehicle started moving backward, knocking her down and rolling over her, police said. Emergency crews responded and pronounced her dead at the scene. Her name was not released. The death is the city's eighth fatal collision this year.
