TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will be reducing lanes of traffic on a major highway in Topeka this week. On Tuesday, April 15 KDOT will be reducing lanes of travel on US-24 Highway and on US-75 Highway for a multi-bridge repair project. The northbound bridge ov er US-24 will be reduced to one lane in the coming weeks and both directions of US-75 will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project. KDOT said there will be a 12-foot width restriction and a reduced speed limit of 55 mph in the work zones.
