Park City police receive complaint about dog attack on another canine

The Park City Police Department in early April received a series of complaints involving what were described as noisy dogs as well as a case centered on an attack on another dog.The police receive regular reports of dog-related issues, but the concentration of the recent cases is unusual. Public pol
ice logs did not provide details in some of the cases.The agency on Sunday, April 6, at 6:45 p.m., received the report of a dog attacking another canine, causing injuries that were described as “mild.” The person who contacted the police, though, was worried about the possibility the other dog had rabies, according to public police logs. The other dog was not present at the time of the call to the police and the person was unsure of the owner. The case was reported on Lowell Avenue.Other recent cases included:On Tuesday, April 8, at 10:07 p.m., the police received a complaint about a dog that was “barking its head off” on Sidewinder Drive. The person who contacted the police knocked on a door where the pet was located, but there did not appear to be anyone there, the police were told.
On Monday, April 7, at 10:44 p.m., dogs on Sidewinder Drive were reported to be outside and barking “and have been for a couple hours now,” according to public police logs. The police were told children were attempting to sleep.
On Sunday, April 6, at 9:03 p.m., a dog reportedly was howling “for hours” in the area of Woodside Avenue. The police logged the case as suspected disturbing the peace.
On Friday, April, 4 at 3:03 p.m., a report from a bicycle trail in the area of City Park involved dogs. They did not attack, but the dogs were apparently running off leash.
On Thursday, April 3, at 1:08 a.m., the police received a complaint from someone on American Saddler Drive about a dog that was “incessantly barking” for upward of 45 minutes.
