PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Demolition work at McCoy Stadium continued Monday, with construction crews knocking down part of the stadium grandstand. Construction crews took down many of the green, red, and blue seats that fans sat in for years before the Pawtucket Red Sox moved to Worcester in 2021. McCoy Stadium is being demolished before work starts this summer on a new, unified Pawtucket High School at the site.
