NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Monday, pop star Katy Perry made international headlines by flying into space on Blue Origin's all-female mission to space, but did you know she has her own "Katy Perry Day" in New Orleans?
Back in March, Perry performed at the Krewe of Endymion's Extravaganza at the Cae
sars Superdome for Mardi Gras. After she performed some of her biggest hits like "I Kissed a Girl," "Teenage Dream," "California Girls," Dark Horse," "Firework," and "Roar," she was presented with a very special proclamation from New Orleans City Councilmember Helena Moreno.
