Corporate Tax Breaks Could Significantly Impact State Cash Coffers

The Imagine Act, which would a
pparently create $25-billion investments and create more than 33,000 new jobs as well as a big price tag, which will be due in the next four years. Foley says this could have a major impact on the state budget.
Based on the Nebraska Department of Revenue’s data, Foley says the total delinquent and protested tax balances as of last June 30 are over $657-million.
