ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – A new, family-focused indoor playground is set to open this fall in Ashwaubenon, aiming to become a go-to destination for families seeking fun regardless of the weather. Beth and Mark Kinnunen, driven by the desire to create a safe and energetic space for their two yo ung sons, are opening Let’s Run Around, the largest family-owned indoor playground in Wisconsin. Located at 2605 South Oneida Street next to David's Bridal, the facility will offer nearly 20,000 square feet of interactive play space. "So coming back into this space as an adult to start my own business is a true full-circle moment." The playground’s features include: A large, custom-designed playground Turf area for open play Swings Giant building blocks Dedicated 2–5 year-old play zone Track around the play area Seating area for eating and relaxing A flexible space for community-chosen additions A café area for a local coffee shop Let’s Run Around will operate 12 hours a day, 363 days a year, using a unique code-entry system for convenient access. Both daily admission and membership options will be available. “We’ve had a half million views on our social media pages and heard from hundreds of businesses. The excitement has been overwhelming,” Beth said. “We’re really excited to bring this here for families like our own.” Spectrum donates $2,500 to Green Bay First to support community services The Kinnunens are working with Little Tikes Commercial and Northland Recreation—designers behind Voyageur Park in De Pere and Memorial Park in Appleton—to bring the playground to life.
