LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Police in Lexington are adding a new item to their uniform. On Monday, April 14, Chief Terrance Green announced the department has partnered with the Autism Society of South Carolina with a new uniform patch. Green says the patch is designed to promote understanding a nd acceptance of individuals in the Lexington community who are on the autism spectrum. You can get on the act, the patches can be purchased at the Lexington Police Department for $15. All proceeds go to the Autism Society of South Carolina.
