RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Revenue is reminding residents that the end of tax season is coming to a close soon.
Officials say South Carolina Individual Income Tax returns and payments are due May 1, 2025, while most of the country is facing an April 14
deadline.
South Carolina’s tax deadline was extended to May 1st due to Hurricane Helene.
However if you do need to file in another state, that state’s deadline will apply.
While reminding residents of the due date, the dept. of revenue is also giving tips on how to pay what you owe after filing your taxes.
