WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Williamsburg County are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Sunday. Authorities responded to a report of gunfire on Cypress Avenue, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office. When they arrived, they found an individual sufferi ng from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS took the victim to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. An initial investigation revealed the victim was standing outside a Kingstree establishment when they were fired at. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Deputies have not yet identified a suspect.
