CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - For the third time in the history of the course. the Country Club of Charleston is set to host a USGA Championship in 2028. The 47th U.S. Mid-Amateur golf tournament will be played in Charleston September 23rd-28th in 2028. Organized by the USGA, the Mid-Am is the lea ding tournament for post-college amateur golfers in the United States. The Country Club of Charleston hosted the 2013 U.S. Women's Amateur and the U.S. Women's Open in 2019.
