MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The Ward County Sheriff's Office is requesting help from the public to locate a missing person. According to a press release, 19-year-old Tela Nelson was last seen at 1 p.m. on April 11. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She's approximately 5'8" and 150 pounds. Sh e was last seen wearing a red shirt, black tank top with flowers, black leggings, white flip flops, and a navy blue beanie. She also had a small pink backpack with a floral print and a black purse with a chain. Nelson left her home in a southeast Minot area mobile home park and has not returned or had contact with her family.
