BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Devil Pups encouraged interested teens to apply for a 2025 summer camp program scheduled for July. The leadership development program is set to start on July 10 and last until July 19 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, according to a press release b y the Kern County Devil Pups. Teens between ages 14 and 17 can apply. Kern County Devil Pups honored at ceremony Potential candidates are required to pass a physical fitness test and interview with the local Devil Pups Liaison Representatives, the release said. These tryouts are set for May 3 in Bakersfield, and applications must be submitted prior to the tryouts. “We are looking for healthy teenagers from all walks of life, including but not limited to top students, top athletes, students following college paths, and Junior ROTC participants,” the release said.
