WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police announced Monday that a man was arrested in Maryland in connection to a shooting that left a person injured last month. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on March 17, around 6:20 p.m., a man had walked into the DC Fire and EMS station on 4 9th Street with gunshot wounds. Medics took him to the hospital for treatment. Woman dies after crashing into pole in Montgomery County D.C. detectives later learned that the man was shot in the 4000 block of Clay Place, NE. This is almost a mile away from the fire station. Nearly one month later, authorities located 31-year-old Mickyel Goodwin in Hyattsville. He was taken into custody on an arrest warrant.
