(BCN) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday morning in Concord. Officers heard gunshots around 3 a.m. near Monument Boulevard and Meadow Lane, and dispatch received several 911 calls. Decapitated animals found on Fremont park bench Officers found the 40-year-old victim l ying on the ground near the intersection of Monument and Reganti Drive. The victim died at the scene. His name was not released. Officers determined the shots were fired from a vehicle that fled the area.
