(KSNW) – The Kansas Highway Patrol says it is still writing collision reports about the fatal 71-vehicle pileup in northwest Kansas one month ago, but it is finally able to release the names of the eight people who d ied during a blinding dust storm on March 14. The crash happened along Interstate 70, about nine miles east of Goodland, near the town of Edson in Sherman County between 3:20 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. on March 14. In addition to the eight people killed, 46 people were injured. Police identify driver killed after falling off I-70 in Topeka Four of those killed were from Kansas.
