Construction of the PC MARC’s new aquatic facilities will begin on Monday, April 21, according to Engage Park City.Visitors may experience disruptions and increased noise in and around the facility. Construction is estimated to be completed by next summer.In 2023, Park City Council allocated $6 million to renovate the PC MARC outdoor aquatic facilities and $15 million to rebuild the City Park Recreation Building. The recreation department contracted with professional designers and architects to create concepts for each project. The council ultimately approved the North Ridge Construction contract.The lap pool and surrounding area will be undergoing renovations, but access to the leisure pool and tennis courts will remain available throughout the process.Open swim for summer 2025 will begin June 7. Masters swim will not be offered. Aquafit begins June 9.
