IE VARSITY SOFTBALL RANKINGS, APRIL 14
1. Norco (19-2)
The Cougars beat Centennial and King to remain unbeaten in Big VIII League.

2. Etiwanda (14-2)
The Eagles
opened Baseline League play with a 3-2 victory over Chino Hills.

3. Ayala (11-2)
The Bulldogs open the week a game up on Glendora in the Palomares League.

4. Valley View (16-3)
The Eagles host Liberty in an important Ivy League game Tuesday afternoon.

5. King (10-8)
The Wolves host Centennial in a key Big VIII League game Thursday afternoon.
Previous ranking: 6
6. Ganesha (14-4-1)
The Giants have allowed only three runs in seven Miramonte League games

7. Murrieta Mesa (10-6-1)
The Rams have a half-game lead in the Southwestern League standings.

8. Chino Hills (12-8)
The Huskies staged a late rally but came up a little short against Etiwanda.

The Highlanders head to Etiwanda on Friday for a key Baseline League game.

The Bears snapped a three-game losing streak with a 15-1 win over Hemet.
