HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 19-year-old has been arrested and charged following a shooting that damaged several vehicles in Henrico County early Sunday morning.
Nineteen-year-old Tyjay Jerome Bell of Henrico County was arrested and charged with attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm
in the commission of a felony after several vehicles were found damaged by what appeared to be gunshots, according to police.
Gunfire can be heard clearly in video from a nearby security camera shared with 8News by a viewer earlier today.
This comes after officers with the Henrico County Police Division responded to the 11000 block of West Broad Street at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 13.
When officers arrived, they found several vehicles damaged from what police said "appeared to be gunfire." No injuries were reported.
According to officials, Bell was identified during the preliminary investigation, he was later arrested after police said he attempted to flee the area.
