DIGHTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A car ended up tangled in electrical wires after a rollover crash in Dighton Monday morning.
Crews responded to the scene in the area of 2424 Winthrop Street just before 4:30 a.m.
Police say an investigation revealed that a car rolled over and hit a utility pole, caus
ing it to snap in half and its wires to fall around the car.
The driver was able to get out of the car before crews arrived, according to police. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
