DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) - Lisa Becker, who passed in 2021, was known by family members for her generous spirit and her strong belief in giving back as she often collected items for local shelters. Sunday saw a touching tribute in honor of Lisa as this year's "Love From Lisa" donation drive supported the De Pere Police Department with help from her boyfriend's employer and her church. We do a charity event every year. Some sort of collection in her honor and this year we were overwhelmed with the generosity of our community, family, and friends for all the stuffed animals we got for the police department. Judi Becker, Lisa's mom Judi also says that Lisa was her best friend as well as a wonderful mother and nurse. Lisa started these collections when her kids were very young helping them learn the importance of helping others.
