CSPD responds to sedan with bullet holes, no suspect found

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that officers responded to a call regarding a weapon. When they arrived, they found a silver sedan with bullet holes on Sunday, April 13. Subsequent calls led to a victim, but no suspect has been found.
According to CSP
D, at around 10 p.m. on Sunday, officers found the silver sedan on the 3000 block of South Academy Boulevard, near Hancock Expressway. The silver sedan was later reported stolen by the registered owner. An hour later, officers got another weapons call in the 1500 block of South Academy Boulevard, near East Fountain Boulevard, where they found several spent shell casings but no victims.
However, officers stopped a car that was leaving the area and found a teen driver who allegedly had firearms, a large amount of cash, and illegal drugs in the car.
CSPD reported that a few minutes later, a victim called in and said that their car had been shot and that they were near the area of the previous call. Responding officers learned that the suspects had shot the victims' car several times while the victims were in the vehicle.
