(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a 35-year-old man after he enticed a child away from her home.
On Sunday, April 13, police were notified of a suspicious circumstance and trespassing situation at a fast food restaurant in the 1200 block of North Academy Boul
evard, near Uintah Street. An employee advised that there were concerns about a man who came in with a young girl based on prior knowledge that the man was not the girl's caregiver.

The Crimes Against Children Unit responded and took over the investigation. It determined the child had been enticed away from an apartment courtyard in the 3700 block of East San Miguel Street, near North Academy Blvd.
The child was unharmed and reunited with her parents.
McLaurin is facing new charges, including Second-Degree Kidnapping, Enticement of a Child, and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
