CHARLOTTE, NC – A 15-year-old boy is charged with the murder of a 25-year-old man in north Charlotte. The deadly shooting happened on Oaklawn Avenue in October of 2024. CMPD says police arrested the boy on Friday. He’s accused of shooting Carlos Leiva at an apartment complex. Officers found Lev ia inside an SUV after it crashed and caught fire.
