DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A prescribed burn is planned Monday for roughly 400 acres across from the entrance of Givhan’s State Park. The burn was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Dorchester County government officials said people passing through the area may see fire and smoke; however , they should not be concerned. Dorchester County Fire Rescue is aware of the planned burn.
