MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Minot native, entrepreneur, former banker, and current council member, Rob Fuller, announced on Monday that he will be running for Mayor of Minot.
Fuller has roots deep in the community and a career that spans finance, small business, and public service leadership, and has
a clear mission: to bring common-sense leadership, integrity, and a fresh, results-driven approach to City Hall.
"This city raised me. It gave me opportunities, values, and a strong foundation for everything I've done," Fuller explained. "Now it's my turn to give back — and to help move Minot forward with transparency, accountability, and a long-term vision that puts our community first."
Fuller's campaign slogan is "A Fresh Start, A Stronger Minot," and is focused on shaking off the status quo and building a future that works for everyone.
His professional background includes banking and finance and successful entrepreneurship, making him known for his straight talk, hard work, and problem-solving mindset.
He's built his career on trust and community engagement.

"I'm not a career politician, and I think that's exactly what Minot needs right now," Fuller added. "We need leadership that listens, that understands small business and the people's needs, and that respects the hard-earned tax dollars of our citizens."
His platform will be focusing on:
Stronger support for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Streamlining city operations and reducing wasteful spending.
Real infrastructure improvements that prioritize long-term impact.
Listening to the community — making sure the people in our city are and feel heard.
Fuller and his wife live in Minot with their two sons. He graduated from Bishop Ryan and UND, then returned to Minot in 2012 to raise his family and invest in the community that shaped him.
"This is our home," Fuller said. "I'm committed to making Minot a place where our kids want to stay, build careers, and raise their families too."
