Williston Police Department arrests man with 3 warrants

WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — A Williston man with three active warrants was arrested on April 12.
According to the Williston Police Department, they received and executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of 7th Ave W.
Officers discovered he had two municipal warrants and one district c
ourt warrant.
Before executing the warrant, officers established a perimeter.
Man arrested after 2-hour stand-off in Dickinson
During the search, police found suspected drug paraphernalia in plain view, which prompted the application for a secondary search warrant through the Williams County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Officers were able to locate the man hiding in a crawl space and deployed less-lethal pepper ball rounds after the man failed to come out of the crawl space.
The man was arrested on three outstanding warrants and is facing additional charges of preventing arrest and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, both of which are Class A misdemeanors.
