SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - An overnight fire damaged a home in Springfield's Forest Park neighborhood.  Spirit of Springfield hosts Air Force Academy Concert Band Springfield Fire Captain Drew Piemonte states that crews were sent to 85-87 Forest Park Ave around 2:00 a.m. Monday mornin g. When they arrived, they reported seeing smoke and fire on the second floor in the back. The fire has since been extinguished. The cause of the fire has been determined as an electrical malfunction.
