HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Hartford firefighters rescued a brave dog from a roof on Sunday.
Fire officials responded to New Park Avenue around 3:45 p.m. for a report of a dog on a roof.
District Fire Chief Mario Oquendo Jr. said the dog reportedly got onto the porch roof through an open attic w
indow and jumped onto the main roof of the 2.5-story house.
LOCAL: Dog rescued after house fire in Rehoboth
A ladder truck bucket was extended to the roof, and the dog was brought to safety, according to the district fire chief.
The dog had no reported injuries.
