Fire crews battle apartment fire in SE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in Southeast Oklahoma City Monday morning.
Officials say firefighters responded to the apartment complex near SE 15th St. and High Ave. around 4 a.m.

Upon arrival, flames were coming from the roof. The flames have been knocked down, but four units have been heavily damaged.
No one was in the building and no injuries have been reported. Fire officials say crews have responded to this complex before.
"We've been on this fire before, this is the second time we've had this exact same fire in the exact same building," said Batt. Chief Wiley Gabhart with OKCFD. "It apparently wasn't secured and somebody got in and somehow got it started."
It is unclear exactly how the fire started. Crews are working to get rid of any hot spots that may be left in the building. ...read more read less
