VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- A boy was injured following an early morning shooting in Virginia Beach. According to police, officers were called to the 200 block of S. Budding Ave at 2:33 a.m. for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. His condition is stable but critical, police said. Photos from the scene show a heavy police presence.
