COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – You and the family can take part in a new initiative that uses a special garden to help plant the seeds for success in the community! The kickoff event for the G.R.O.W. (Growing Resiliency, Opportunity and Wellness) Farm is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 216 Sin gleton Drive. Curtis spoke with the owner, Dr. Lisa Kershaw, Jennifer Cunningham about how the farm brings the community together through workshops, agricultural job skill programs much more to build a better future. The event will have seedling sales, a community planting event a free workshop for the best practices for eco-friendly gardening.
