Easter dining tastes and styles abound in Northeast Ohio
Apr 14, 2025
It’s time to plan that Easter brunch, whether you prepare it at home or go out to eat. Because Easter comes late this year, on April 20, some time outdoors is likely in the plans.
Easter is a movable feast. It’s three weeks later this year than in 2004, and next year it takes place early in Apri
l. Its date falls on the first Sunday after the full moon following the vernal equinox, which was March 20.
Brunch can follow an early-morning hunt for Easter eggs, or it can precede an Easter stroll to show off that Easter bonnet.
The Neidus family, which owns and operates StoneWater Golf Club in Highland Heights, has worked with the Easter Bunny to provide for guests who wish to pick up a meal or enjoy it at its Rustic Grill.
Its brunch takes place between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. as a buffet with several stations, including one for kids. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for selfies.
Choices at the adult station include Herb Roasted Leg of Lamb; Frittata With Potato, Spring Onion and Gruyere; Cinnamon-Sugar Brioche French Toast; Bacon; Sausage; Potatoes O’Brien; Chopped Spring Salad; Lemon Cream Pasta with Spring Peas; Roasted Tomatoes; and Grilled Asparagus.
Meanwhile, kids will be able to choose among Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes, Buttered Noodles, Chicken Fingers, Bacon and Sausage.
The carving station includes Blood Orange Brown Sugar Glazed Ham, served with Mustard, and Braised Beef Brisket served, with Au Jus and Horseradish Cream Sauce.
A station for pastries and desserts will include a seasonal fruit bowl, assorted bagels and breads, Chocolate Marshmallow Bunny Pops, Rhubarb Cake Bars, Mini Carrot Cake Loaves with Sugar Glaze, Strawberry Pop-Tart Blondies, Chocolate Lasagna and assorted cookies.
Brunch with the Easter Bunny is $40 per adult and $20 per child under 12 (plus tax and 20 percent gratuity). Kids under 2 eat for free.
Reservation times are for 90 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Call 440-461-4653, ext. 232 or email wneidus@stonewatergolf.com.
